Today 36 more families in the world have access to clean drinking water. The His Hands His Feet ministry team, made up of members from Texas, California, and Alabama, delivered food, clothing, Bibles and water filters to these unforgettable families this morning. The whole community was gathered and excited when we arrived. Every eye watched with anticipation as we unloaded our donations and filters from the vehicles into the cinder block, wood, and tin church building.

Our team organized the donations so they could be distributed with dignity and order and then I had the honor of giving a brief demonstration of the water filtration system. The people erupted in applause when they learned about the water filters. Then the families entered the church to meet with groups of volunteers and translators for prayer, meeting specific needs as we were able with available supplies, and answering any further questions about the filters so they knew how to use them.

It was a very emotional morning for both the community members and the team. Grateful hearts were evident all around and tears could be seen in many eyes. The community residents thanked the team profusely for the gifts received. The volunteers were overwhelmed by the honor of serving, and seeing the Gospel in action. We were blessed to pray over Pastor Steven, who was incredibly proud of the new, tin roof. Our team hopes to raise the remaining funds needed to complete the church upon returning home. What a magnificent day. Praise the Lord for being our true, living water and for allowing us to distribute living water in His name today. .
